A recent Union Island consultation attracted personnel from various agencies, each with specific roles: the Ministry of Grenadines Affairs (policy oversight), Airports and Seaports (infrastructure operations), National Security (public safety), Disaster Management and Immigration (crisis response and border control), the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (law enforcement), Coast Guard (maritime security), Customs (import/export regulation), Fisheries (resource management), and the Modern Port Operating Company (port management), among others.
In May 2026, two officials conducted an on-site visit to the Byera Health Centre project. Hon. Chieftain Neptune, Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, and Hon. Shevern John, Minister of Social Welfare and Community Empowerment, Ecclesiastical Affairs, and National Heritage, arrived at the location to personally evaluate the status of the ongoing construction work.
Seventeen (17) primary schools from across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will participate in the 2026 edition of the Inter Primary School Developmental Cricket Competition, being realized by the Division of Sports and Physical Activities in collaboration with the SVG Cricket Association.
