The Zero Hunger Trust Fund (ZHTF) has launched a new European Union (EU)-funded regional initiative to strengthen food security, improve nutrition, enhance education and build climate resilience across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Grenada and Dominica.

On behalf of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency Gareth Bynoe, Resident Ambassador of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, joined representatives of fellow Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States in presenting humanitarian assistance to the Honourable Yván Gil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, accompanied by Raúl Li Causi, Vice Minister for the Caribbean.

The Foreign Trade Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs will host the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Specialised National Services Sector Training Workshops from Monday, 20th July to Thursday, 23rd July, 2026.

Twenty-six students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have been afforded a unique opportunity to participate in an international leadership development programme designed to strengthen youth leadership, broaden global perspectives, and equip young Vincentians with the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to national development. This will take place during the 2026 and 2027 summer months, with an anticipated increase in student participation in 2027.

During the sitting of Parliament on July 2nd, 2026, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Sustainable Development, Hon. Dr. Kishore Shallow, highlighted Vincentian Stacy-Ann Adams’ groundbreaking achievement as Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ first female Test Cricket Commentator.
