The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily on the island of Saint Vincent.
The Regional Integration Diaspora Unit (RIDU) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors will host the 2021 CARICOM week of activities under the theme “I am CARICOM” from Sunday, 4th July 2021 to Friday 9th July, 2021.
Nine (9) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from two hundred and two (202) samples processed on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 4.5%.
