On Monday, October 11, 2021; Hon. Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, signed two agreements on behalf of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), with the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade’s conference room.

One hundred and thirty-one (131), new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from six hundred and fifty-eight (658), samples processed on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021; resulting in a positivity rate of 20%.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, welcomed Ambassador Mr. Regis Chapman, the newly accredited Representative and Country Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), Caribbean Multi-country Office, based in Barbados.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has been added to the list of countries for which travellers fully (i.e. two doses and the second one being at least two weeks ago) vaccinated with AstraZeneca (including Covishield), Pfizer, Moderna or Janssen are exempt from quarantine in England.
