One (1) new COVID-19 positive case was reported from twenty-nine (29) samples collected on Sunday, 12th December, 2021, resulting in a positivity 3.5%. Two (2) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on December 12th, 2021.
The body of the late Sir James Mitchell will lie in State at the House of Assembly on Friday, 17th December, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Viewing for the family will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Viewing for the Governor General and the Prime Minister will be from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Viewing for Officials and Dignitaries shall be from 10:45 am to 11:00 a.m. Viewing for the general public shall be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily on the islands of Saint Vincent and Bequia.
