Every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade hosts an Essay Writing Competition which targets the youth of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to hone their research and writing abilities while gaining in-depth knowledge on local, regional, and international affairs and events via research and applicability to their lives, as well as to the Vincentian society.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will host the Seventh (7th) Meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Council of Ministers: Education (COM:Edu) on February 17th and 18th, 2022, under the theme “Education in Extraordinary Times: From Vulnerability to Resilience”.
The Ministry wishes to refer to a news broadcast on SVG Television dated Monday, 14th February, 2022, regarding this country's relations with the United Arab Emirates.
The SVG Red Cross Community Resilience Project handed over a quantity of emergency response equipment to members of the Overland/Magum Community Disaster Response Team (CDRT). The handing over took place Friday, 11th February, in the Overland Community.
