Supports through Ministry of Social Development:
Payment of a cash transfer of $800 per household to 3,247 World Food Programme (WFP) household beneficiaries, as a transition from the existing WFP programme to the Soufriere Transitioning Grant for December 2021.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Tunghai University and the Taiwanese Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the International Elite Cultivation Program. Through the program, outstanding students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can pursue an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree at Tunghai University.
Eleven (11) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred fifty (157) samples collected on Friday, 3rd December, 2021, resulting in a positivity of 7.0%. Ten (10) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on December 3rd, 2021.
Please be advised that the persons who obtained the following passes at the 2020 sitting of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate, CAPE and Associate Degree Programmes, who have not collected the $500.00 award, can now do so between the 14th to 16th December, 2021 at the Ministry of Education from 9:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
