The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) will participate in the Caribe Wave Tsunami Exercise on Thursday, 10th March, 2022. As part of this exercise, the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority, the National Insurance Scheme and the Ministry of National Security will activate their Tsunami Evacuation Plans and evacuate to the Intermediate High School at McKies Hill and the Sion Hill Anglican Church (Church of the Ascension).

To develop Christian expression while providing greater exposure to gospel artistes forms part of the inspiration behind Gospel Fest 2022. This year, the festival will showcase its 20th edition from Sunday, 13th March to Sunday, 1st May, 2022  under the theme “A glorious celebration of the gospel of Jesus Christ”.  

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) in collaboration with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency Coordinating Unit (CDEMA CU) conducted a virtual National Level Tabletop Exercise (NLE) to test its operational capabilities and to evaluate the national plans and policies that are in place to achieve the national level of preparedness required to prepare for and respond to catastrophic events.

The National Commission for UNESCO within the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Man and the Biosphere Committee wish to invite persons from the communities of Penniston, DuBois , Hope Village and Number 8 to a community meeting on Thursday, 10 March, 2022 at the Apostolic Faith Church in Penniston (next to the Bus Stop) from 4:30 p.m.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is encouraging Vincentians to show their creativity and tell their story by participating in the Ministry’s special edition Literary Arts Competition for 2022.
