The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) is urging residents and motorist in low lying areas, areas prone to flooding, lahar or mudflows and landslide to be vigilant and exercise caution.

Seven (7) schools received grants towards their school feeding programmes through a local charity organisation MRI6. The grant amounts to thirty-six thousand, one hundred and twenty dollars ($36,120) and contributions vary from 2-thousand to 5-thousand dollars to the individual schools.

Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), met with stakeholders from the Agriculture and Fisheries sector to discuss the operationalization of a National Agriculture Management Information System.
