On Tuesday, 4th October, 2022 The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (MOHWE) took part in a Press Conference at the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) conference room to launch their new exciting initiative called “Vincy Moves” within the Independence calendar, organised by the National Independence Committee.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, wishes to inform the general public that the fogging operation for Wednesday, 5th October 2022 in the villages of Prospect, Old Montrose, Byrea, South Union and Layou, conducted by the Insect Vector Control Unit, is cancelled due to the inclemency of the weather.
The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation advises that students who travel to school by boat remain at home today due to the unstable weather conditions affecting the islands.
Plans are already underway to host the Everything Vincy Expo 2022 at the Geest Shed Terminal. The event will showcase five days of Vincentian businesses, entrepreneurs, innovators and creativity, from October 24th - 28th.
