The Vector Unit within the Public Health Department is embarking on a project to reduce the rodent population in Kingstown.
On Thursday, 6th April, 2023 the Ministry of Health received a donation of supplies from the Republic of China on Taiwan (ROC) through a private foundation. The items include 120 wheelchairs for adults, 25 wheelchairs for children, 80 walkers and 40 commode chairs as well as 200 canes.
The Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre launched a “Big Brother" Mentorship Programme on Wednesday, 5th April, 2023 at the Centre in Largo Height and with eleven mentors taking on the responsibility of providing guidance to boys at the institution for at-least one year.
The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation in collaboration with Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology and Brock University will deliver the second phase of an in-service training course to system leaders as well as primary and secondary teachers in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
