The Caribbean Community Heads of Government convened in Trinidad and Tobago on Monday, 3rd July, 2023 for their 45th regular meeting, and the launch of a yearlong series of celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary since the regional grouping was founded.
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023 granted a total of 21 scholarships by the Republic of Cuba. The scholarships that are for the 2023/24 academic year, are available for Vincentian students to pursue graduate and postgraduate studies at Cuban universities.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is currently in Trinidad and Tobago for the 45th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM as the Regional grouping marks its 50th anniversary.
The general public is asked to note that there will be no registration for Monday, 3rd July, 2023, due to the inclement weather. Registration will resume on Wednesday, 5th July, 2023.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 pm daily on the island of Saint Vincent.
