The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines National Trust held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 15th December, 2022 at the National Trust Secretariat. At the commencement of the proceedings, a collection of artefacts donated by Dr. Cecil Cyrus was unveiled by his wife Mrs. Kathleen Cyrus. Several members of Dr. Cyrus’ family were on hand to witness the unveiling, an event which he was unable to attend.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves left the state on Monday, 13th February, 2023 to attend two regional high-level functions this week. Dr. Gonsalves will first travel to Guyana for an Energy Conference and Expo which takes place on Tuesday, 14th February, 2023.
A delegation from the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is currently in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Over 30 Journalists, Government Information Officers, Disaster Management Professionals and Social Media Influencers from across the Caribbean, convened in Miami, Florida for a Crisis Communication TechCamp from 8th-9th February, 2023.
