Jumpstart Literacy Programme Strengthens Early Reading Education in Saint Vincent And The Grenadines
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Rasmus Foundation and education partners, is celebrating the continued expansion of the Jumpstart Literacy Programme, an innovative initiative designed to strengthen foundational reading skills and ensure every child has the opportunity to become a confident reader from the earliest years of schooling.
Eighteen (18) young farmers have completed the first Agricultural Productivity Recovery and Young Farmers Training Project, marking a significant step in strengthening agriculture in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Vincentians gained valuable insights into the nation’s history and the impacts of climate change through the “History, Heritage and Memory: Garifuna Prisoners of War” exhibition and book launch, held from July 31st to August 1st, at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus in Kingstown.
