The Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation and Information, will host a two-day National Education Forum, on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th, May 2019, at the Beachcombers Hotel, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Over 100 girls representing Saint Vincent’s rising talent in the ICT sector, will take part in the Caribbean.Girls.Hack - 2019 Hackathon, which is part of International Girls in ICT Day celebrations over the world.  The Hackathon which is organised by SheLeadsIT co-founders, Ms. Bridget Lewis and Ms. Nicole Pitter Patterson, encourages and empowers young women to pursue studies and careers in ICT.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce, and the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture; will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, through a cultural event dubbed “Soul Beat Korea”.

Owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), persons with startup business ideas, or anyone who has problems sourcing funds to start a business will soon have an opportunity to get help via an Angel Investor, thanks to an initiative taken by Invest SVG.

On Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May, one thousand, seven hundred and eighty-five (1785), Grade 6 students will sit the final component of the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA), in sixteen (16) centres throughout Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.  There are nine hundred and thirty (930), males and eight hundred and fifty-five (855), females registered.
