Two Vincentians have been successful in attaining Chevening Scholarships to pursue a one year Master’s degree in the United Kingdom for the academic year 2019/2020. The successful applicants are Miss Jenell Gibson and Mr. Jeshua Bardoo.  Miss Gibson will be pursuing a Master of Laws at the University College, London; while Mr. Bardoo will be pursing an LLM Human Rights Law at Brunel University. 

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Academy of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network invites university students who will be enrolled at the undergraduate level in the period August to December 2020 to apply for Millennium Fellowships. Only students who are undergraduates between August and December 2020 will be eligible. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 2020. Fellows will be announced in July 2020.

The Ministry of National Mobilisation, through the Youth Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Division of Culture, will be conducting a new initiative dubbed:  “Vincy Youth got Talent”; as part of the 2019 youth development agenda.

The Government of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines will host a Venezuelan Naval vessel, the Simón Bolívar School Vessel at the Kingstown Port, from 17th - 21st August, 2019.

CSEC

Preliminary Results of the May/June 2019 Caribbean Examinations Council Secondary Education Certificate Examinations (CSEC), were received on 12th August 2019, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This year 2478 candidates were registered. Of these, 817 were private candidates.
