Saint Vincent and the Grenadines confirmed four (4) new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 20th December. One case is a returning national who arrived with a negative PCR test result from the BVI on December 15, 2020, and tested positive on entry screening.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines today, Monday, 21st December, confirmed three (3) new COVID-19 cases. Two cases are returning nationals from the United Kingdom, one on December 13th and one on December 14th, who arrived with negative PCR test results, both tested negative on entry and positive on day 5 screening.
The Health Services Sub-committee of the National Emergency Organization was informally notified by a Grenadian Health Official on Sunday, 20th December, that a traveler from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tested positive for COVID-19.
The Superintendent of Her Majesty’s Prisons and the Belle Isle Correctional Facility, Mr. Timothy Hazelwood wishes to advise the general public that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current review of national security matters at both facilities, the popular prison concert and the football match between Superintendent of Prison’s team and the Commissioner of Police team have been cancelled.
