The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines took the decision on Tuesday, 13th July, 2021, that residents of the communities of Fitz-Hughes and Chateaubelair who evacuated due to the explosive eruption of the La Soufrière volcano can return home from Friday, 23rd July, 2021.

The CARICOM week of activities was held from 4th to 9th July, 2021. The week-long activities commenced on CARICOM Day with an Open 10k and 5k friendly run.

 

Two (2) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and sixty-eight (168) samples processed on Saturday, 10th July , 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 1.2%. 

One (1) new COVID-19 positive case was reported from one hundred (100) samples processed on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021.
