The Republic of China (Taiwan) recently provided support to the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by offering opportunity for entrepreneurial training and grant assistance to Vincentian women in business through the Women's Empowerment Project which is being collaborated between the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Centre for Enterprise Development.
Since 2004, Vincentian students have been given the opportunity to pursue higher education in Taiwan through the MOFA Taiwan and ICDF Scholarships. This year is no different, with the application period for both scholarships currently open for all aspiring applicants.
One of the mandates of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines foreign policy is to establish diplomatic relations with yet more countries around the world to better protect the nation’s interests particularly in migration (visa waivers), investment, trade, development assistance, cultural and sporting links.
The Ministry of National Mobilisation Et al. in collaboration with UNICEF is conducting a two-day face-to-face workshop, which seeks to continue the empowerment of persons who will be responsible for the dissemination of the RapidPro app here in SVG.
