Welcome to the official website of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Business owners and the general public will next week have another opportunity to familiarize themselves with the organizations that provide products and services that would help them to digitalize their operations.

This will be made possible when the Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED) holds its second Technology Fair on Wednesday, 25th October, to promote digital solutions to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The Technology Fair will be held under the Resilience through Innovation and Technology (RIT) MSME Recovery Programme, which is aimed at accelerating the growth of MSMEs in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) through innovation and technology.

The fair takes place at the car park next to the SVG Postal Corporation, in Kingstown from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will feature displays by several organizations including the National Telecommunications and Regulatory Commission (NTRC), Information Technology Service Division (ITSD), and the National Centre of Technological Innovation (NTCI).

The RIT programme is funded by a US$100,000 grant from the Organization of American States (OAS), through its Development Cooperation Fund (DCF). This project is being implemented by CED during the OAS/DCF’s 2021-2024 project cycle under the theme: Retooling MSME´s through innovation and technology.’

Acting General Manager, CED, Mrs. Affia James Clarke is urging persons from the MSME sector to attend the Technology Fair and interact and network with the exhibitors.

“The goal of the project is to help MSMEs achieve economic recovery and sustainable development by promoting change in strategies and business practices through technology and innovation. We encourage our business community, especially small business owners, to visit and engage with the various entities on display to learn more about how they can integrate technologies to strengthen their businesses.”
