Egg production in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is set to experience a significant boost, as twenty selected poultry farmers received nesting boxes at the Dumbarton Agricultural Station. These items are expected to build their capacity to provide higher-quality eggs to consumers.
Representatives from the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. The meeting was held at the Minister’s Office.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines enforces strict penalties for littering, wildlife, and forest offences under the Litter Act, the Wildlife Protection Act, and the Forest Resource Conservation Act, with fines ranging from as little as EC$500 to as much as EC$10,000 and imprisonment terms of up to two years.

This year, 1996 candidates were registered. Of these, 1542 were school candidates and 454 were private candidates.
