On Tuesday, 16th July, 2024, Dominica’s Prime Minister, Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit pledged a contribution of XCD $1, 000,000 to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to aid the recovery efforts post Hurricane Beryl.

In a show of regional solidarity and support, Prime Ministers from the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) visited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, to witness firsthand the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl. The visit underscores the commitment of OECS leaders to aid in the recovery and rebuilding efforts following the hurricane's severe impact, particularly on the Grenadines.

A supplementary Appropriation Bill will be tabled in Parliament on Thursday, July 18th, as the Government seeks for the approval of funds in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), on Wednesday, 10th July, 2024, received a shipment of relief supplies from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
