As a trough system continues to affect our islands, cloudy to overcast skies, pockets of light to heavy showers, periods of light rain and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
As we enter the Christmas Season 2023, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, particularly the Public Health Department is encouraging the general public to work together with the department as we strive to prevent, detect and manage food borne diseases and risks, in an effort to maintain and improve our health.
Tuesday, 5th December - Wednesday, 6th December, 2023: The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour is in the process of developing a new plan for the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector to cover the period 2024 - 2029.
The National Emergency Management Organisation in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), through funding from the Government of Canada, the European Union and the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance will conduct a Forklift Operation and Certification Training during the period December 6 - 7, 2023.
Tuesday, 5th December, 2023 - The Caribbean Agricultural and Research Institute (CARDI) celebrated CARDI Day by hosting an exhibition at the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Postal Corporation Parking Lot in Kingstown.
