The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority is encouraging all unregistered tourism service providers to register their services by 29th September, 2017 at its office on the 2nd Floor of the NIS Building.

Taxi and Tour Operators are asked to note that inspection of vehicles for the 2018 Tourism Approved license will be conducted during the weeks of 9th and 16th October at the Car Park of the E.T. Joshua Airport in Arnos Vale.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, & Rural Transformation, Hon. Saboto Caesar, updated media workers at a press conference held at Cabinet Room earlier this week, on his recent trip to the British Virgin Islands (BVI), and Anguilla, to assess the damage caused by the passage of Hurricane Irma.

“Utter devastation” was the phrase Minister of Economic Planning, Hon. Camillo Gonsalves; used to describe the aftermath of hurricane Irma on the BVI and Anguilla.  Minister Gonsalves was a member of a recent delegation, led by the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Saboto Caesar, to the affected islands.

Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves expressed gratitude to Vincentians for their support in stocking the barge with relief supplies for the BVI and the other affected areas.  With regards to funds spent at the time, he said that it should range in excess of $400,000.  

This country’s response to countries affected by hurricane Irma was addressed by Prime Minister, Hon. Dr Ralph Gonsalves, at a press conference held at Cabinet Room on Monday, 18th September.
