The residents of Calliaqua and surrounding areas are asked to note that the Calliaqua Post Office will be relocated from the Calliaqua Police Station to the Calliaqua Town Hall from Monday, 9th October 2017.

The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines officially opened the Calliaqua Town Hall building today, 3rd October.

The building was constructed by Minors Construction Ltd. at a cost of 2.5 million dollars, and carries a size of 9200 sq. ft.

According to information generated by the Seismic Research Centre, University of the West Indies, Trinidad, at 8:08 am local time today, Monday 2nd October, an earthquake occurred at Latitude 13.23 N and Longitude 61.30 W or 11.0 km NW of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; 96.0 km SW of Castries, Saint Lucia; and 140.0 km NE of Saint George's, Grenada.
