The final examination of the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) concluded on Friday, May 18th, 2018. Of the 1846 students registered, 1837 wrote the final examination.

The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in collaboration with the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is currently hosting the CDB’s Public Policy Analysis and Management Training Programme for Public Officers.

The Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit (RIDU) facilitated the distribution of two printers donated by the Toronto SVG Support Group to schools on mainland Saint Vincent. The Georgetown and Layou Government schools are the recipients of these printers.

Epidemiologist within the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Tamara Bobb, has revealed that Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and cigarette smoking is a major contributing factor in this regard.

Residents of Roseau, Lauders Community, are pleased with the completion of a 650 feet long village road, noting that it has significantly enhanced access to and from the community.
