Residents of North Leeward are now better able to access health care services with the completion and handover of the Chateaubelair Smart Hospital and Clinic in a ceremony on Tuesday, 19th February, 2019.
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday, 12th February, signed contracts at a signing ceremony held at Cabinet Room with Kuwait Dynamics Limited for contracting work on the construction of the National Agricultural and Feeder Roads project and NARCO DIWI (NARCO a Kuwaiti firm and DIWI a British Caribbean firm in a joint venture arrangement as consultants) on the feasibility studies and preliminary designs for the rehabilitation of the North Windward Coast Road.
The islands to be visited by the Prince Of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are: Saint Lucia, Barbados, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Cuba and the British overseas territory- Cayman Islands.
The ceremony to launch the SVG conservation Fund (SVGCF) took place on Tuesday, 12th February, 2019, at the Paradise Beach Hotel, Villa and saw government officials and members of the fund joining together to create a new platform for the conservation, protection and management of natural resources.
The Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) will officially handover the Chateaubelair SMART Hospital to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment in a ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
