The purpose of this document is to provide actionable guidance to school officials for the prevention and early detection of COVID-19 in the school setting. In the longer term, it is anticipated that it will encourage officials, teachers and students to become advocates for disease prevention in and out of the school setting.

Recommendations/Comments presented on 12/08/2020 to the Cabinet of Ministers (revised 16/08/2020):

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines confirmed one (1) new COVID-19 case. This case arrived from the USVI, was quarantined due to the high risk country of origin and has been isolated since receipt of their preliminary positive result. The adult is doing well and has no symptoms typical of COVID-19.
