The Meteorological Services at the Argyle International Airport has advised that a plume of Saharan dust is approaching Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and is anticipated to begin affecting the nation from late Saturday, February 20th, and intensifying early Sunday, February 21st.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines registered twenty (20) COVID-19 cases from tests done between January 19th to February 17th, 2021.
On Friday 12th February 2021, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. The Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, held a meeting with a representative grouping of the Coalition of Churches, comprising Pastor Stephen Ollivierre, Bishop Wendell Davis, Reverend Adolf Davis and Pastor Reynold Murray.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines registered seven (7) new COVID-19 cases from 212 samples taken on February 16th, representing a positivity rate of 3.3%. Five (5) new COVID-19 cases have been reported so far for February 17th.
