Residents of North Leeward are invited to participate in a public engagement session organized by the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation, to plan strategically for the operationalization of a new technical institute in North Leeward.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily on the island of Saint Vincent.
Nine (9) hand-tractors/tillers were handed over to farmers in North Leeward on Thursday as part of a revolving programme for farmers.
Two health centres in North Leeward have undergone extensive rehabilitative work and are scheduled to be opened soon. The Coulls Hill Clinic will open immediately while the Rose Hall Health Centre is scheduled to be opened at a later date.
