Another disbursement of $500.00 will be made to students who sat the 2020 and 2021 examinations for CSEC, CAPE, Associate Degree and Teacher Education programme on Thursday, 19th May, 2022 at the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA), which is a regional assessment model that is offered by the Caribbean Examination Council, will be held on Thursday, 12th May and Friday, 13th May, 2022.
The UNDP Ridge to Reef and the UNEP Integrating Water, Land and Ecosystem Management in Caribbean Small Island Developing State (IWECO) project are jointly implemented projects stationed at the forestry department. The Ridge to Reef project is focused on biodiversity conservation and reducing land degradation whereas the IWECO project is concerned with the integration of water, land, and ecosystem management in small island developing states.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment held a Community Health Services Award of Excellence Cocktail Ceremony at the Prime Minister’s Residence on May 7th, 2022. The award ceremony saw different health care workers given tokens of appreciation for their hard work and for going beyond the call of duty, especially during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano.
