Saint Vincent and the Grenadines now has only two (2) active cases of COVID-19, following the receipt on 9th June, of ninety-one (91) negative COVID-19 PCR results from the CARPHA Public Health Laboratory. This batch of results included nine (9) negative results which were the second ones for nine (9) COVID-19 positive persons, medically clearing them. Please click for full details

It is with deep sadness that the Health Services Sub-committee of the National Emergency Committee confirms that a crew member who was repatriated on 26th May, 2020; on the Royal Caribbean’s Vision of the Seas died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital early on 9th June 2020. The thirty-seven year old man was one of 358 Vincentian sailors who disembarked the vessel on 30th May, after testing negative on both the rapid and the first PCR COVID-19 tests. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines recorded one (1), new COVID-19 case, following the receipt of one hundred and seventy-two (172), PCR results, from the Caribbean Public Health Agency – CARPHA. The new positive case is a RCCL crew member, who arrived here on Tuesday, 26th May 2020, and previously tested negative on the COVID-19 PCR test done on arrival. Please click for full details.
