World Pediatric Project (WPP) Extends Aid To The Underprivileged, Amid The COVID-19 andemic. The non-profit organization, with support from stakeholders, has embarked on a mission outside of the usual scope of providing critical tertiary healthcare, for a one-off assistance in the form of providing essentials, as a form of comfort to Vincentian families. The project is being rolled out in two phases.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines today recorded two (2) new COVID-19 cases, following the receipt of eighty-three (83), PCR results from the Caribbean Public Health Agency – CARPHA. The new positive cases are both RCCL crew members who arrived here on Monday, 15th June. The Vincentian nationals will now be isolated in a government facility for fourteen (14) days. A total of twenty-nine (29), COVID-19 cases have now been recorded in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), has been informed of ‘increased activities’ at the Kick ‘em Jenny submarine volcano, located north of Grenada, (12.18°N, 61.38°W). The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA), of Grenada continue to collaborate with the Seismic Research Centre (SRC), University of the West Indies, to monitor activities at the Kick em’ Jenny volcano.
