The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment was informed this morning August 27, 2021 by CARPHA of the COVID-19 sequencing results of positive samples collected from patients in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on August 12, 2021, received at the CARPHA lab on August 17, 2021 and sent to the COVID19 IMPACT project lab on August 18, 2021.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is in possession of sufficient doses of COVID-19 vaccines (AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Pfizer) to vaccinate all of those persons who are eligible for vaccination.

On Friday, August 21st, 2021, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society donated three (3) portable power generators to the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), at Police Headquarters, Kingstown. The donation was made by Mr. Bernard Morgan, President of the SVG Red Cross Society to Commissioner of Police, Mr. Colin John.
