Thirteen (13) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from seventy-four (74) samples collected on Saturday, 30th October, 2021, resulting in a positivity of 17.6%. Twelve (12) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on October 30th, 2021.

Preliminary results of the August 2021 Caribbean Examinations Council Secondary Education Certificate Examinations (CSEC) were received on October 29, 2021, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily on the island of Saint Vincent.

Several varieties of trees have been planted in the Turnell Plot at Rabacca, as efforts to reforest the plot got underway following the devastation caused by the explosions of the La Soufriere volcano.
