Minister of Agriculture Hon. Saboto Ceasar is currently in Antigua and Barbuda with a delegation for the 21st Eastern Caribbean Ministerial Meeting on Fisheries and the Sustainable Use of Marine Resources.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, wishes to advise the general public that, as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas, commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily, on the mainland.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has announced a shortened hunting season. According to Forestry Officer for compliance, Bradford Latham, their observations and research show that there is an increase number of wildlife species, so a decision was made to reopen the hunting season, though shortened.
