A high level delegation from the Republic of India in Paramaribo will be visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the period April 22nd – 25th, 2018.

The delegation will be headed by H.E. Shri P.P. Chaudhary, Minister of State of Law, Justice and Corporate Affairs, Government of India to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and also H.E. Mr. Satendar Kumar, High Commissioner of India,

 The purpose of the visit is to build on the excellent relations between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of India, paying courtesy calls to Dr. the Hon. Ralph E.Gonsalves, Prime Minister, Hon. Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hon. Camilio Gonsalves, Minister of Finance, Economic Planning, Sustainable Development and Information and also to meet with the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Indian Heritage Foundation and the Indian community.

Since establishing diplomatic relations with the Republic of India, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of India have forged fraternal bonds and strong cooperation mechanism in various areas of national interest such as: cooperation in education: cooperation in culture, cooperation in trade and economic sectors; and bilateral agreements:

The close and cooperative relationship between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of India will continue to grow as we collaborate and foster unity for the development of our nations.
