When the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Gospel Fest opens on Sunday, 2nd April, it would be 21 years since the festival started.
Experts, Academics, Scientists and Disaster Management Specialists from around the world, convened at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus on Wednesday, 29th March, for a conference dubbed “Explosions, Ash and Lahars.”
Vincentians are being encouraged to increase their understanding of La Soufriere volcano and to prepare for any future unrest scenarios. The call has come from conveners of the upcoming country conference happening on Wednesday, 29th March, at The UWI Open Campus, Kingstown.
A number of health facilities across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will benefit from a donation of Emergency Response Equipment from the Republic of China on Taiwan (ROC) through its Public Health Emergency Response System Enhancement Project.
