Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority, Carl James, said they have received support from Global Support Development to assess the ports in the Grenadines following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Minister of Urban Development Hon. Benarva Browne has commended the vision of the Government in constructing a modern port in Kingstown.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised that officials from the United States Embassy, Bridgetown will be visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to provide consular services for American Citizens.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will hold consultations with persons from Union Island who were impacted by the passage of Hurricane Beryl, those in private homes and shelters.
Government will provide approximately 20 million dollars in income support for farmers, fisherfolk and those persons in the hospitality industry who have been affected by the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
