The Ministry of Transport, Works, Lands and Physical Planning would like to inform the general public that from Monday, 1st November, 2021, the section of Windward Highway in the vicinity of the French Verandah and Bungalow Restaurants would be reduced to 1 lane traffic to facilitate the Windward Highway - Villa Rehabilitation Project.
Forty-five (45) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from three hundred and one (301) samples collected on Monday, 25th October, 2021, resulting in a positivity of 14.9%. Fifty-five (55) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on October 25th , 2021.
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission through its Stronger Together Campaign has handed over a cheque for EC $355, 536.78 to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to assist with rehabilitation and recovery efforts after the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano in April of this year.
