Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King is convinced that the Vincentian historical experience is something from which inspiration can be drawn. King said Vincentians must be encouraged by the resilience of their forefathers in the struggle against slavery and colonialism.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is in for a cultural rebirth as the Department of Culture embarks on Emancipation month activities. Minister of Tourism and Culture Hon. Carlos James said the department will host activities in a number of communities across the country.
The Mustique Charitable Trust continues its support to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by funding the construction of forty-one houses in the red zone affected areas. This will be done in collaboration with the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA).
