The Government and people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are shocked and saddened by the assassination of the Honourable Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan. We firmly condemn this reprehensible and abhorrent act of violence and extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Abe’s family and the Government and people of Japan.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily on the island of Saint Vincent.
