The Department of Energy and the Prime Minister’s Office, in collaboration with the Saint Vincent Geothermal Company Limited, will be hosting two public meetings to share comprehensive information on the upcoming civil works phase of the Geothermal Project, including operations to date.

• Saturday, 19th May at 3:00 p.m. at the Georgetown Secondary School and,
• Sunday, 20th May, at 3:00 p.m. at North Union Learning Resource Center.

On Saturday 19th May, the school bus will leave the Old Sandy Bay Primary School grounds at 2:00 p.m., picking up persons on the main road from the school to the Georgetown Secondary School, and from Colonaire Bridge to the Georgetown Secondary School.

On Sunday 20th May, the school bus will pick up persons at 2:00 p.m. from the Stubbs Clinic, and along the main road to the North Union Learning Resource Center.

The Department is seeking the public's continued support as the Geothermal Project progresses to the civil works required for well drilling. These works, which are set to commence in late May, involve the development of required drilling infrastructure (i.e. drill pads and water supply system).

The public's attendance is requested.
