Winners in the various categories of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Nine Mornings Festival received their prizes on Saturday 6th January at the Peace Memorial Hall.

The winner of the National Lighting up competition was Point Village, Rose Bank placed second, while third place was awarded to Belvedere and fourth position to Town Hill and Rose Hall.

The National Lotteries Authority (NLA), Best Community on Parade was awarded to Point Village, Green Hill placed second, while the third and fourth positions were awarded to Stubbs and Owia, respectively. The zonal winners also received their prizes.

The community of Point Village was adjudged the NLA's Best Community Song, second position went to Rose Bank, while Fitz Hughes and Stubbs took the third and fourth spots, respectively.

Stubbs was awarded as the NLA's Best Nine Mornings Community; Richland Park was second and third place went to Coulls Hill, with Carriere fourth.

The NLA's Best Christmas Community was awarded to Coulls Hill, Richland Park placed second, Carriere placed third and fourth place was awarded to Fitz Hughes.

“Christmas Rub Down” and “In the Morning” by Rondy ‘Luta’ McIntosh, were respectively awarded first and second positions in the NLA Most Popular Local Christmas Song; “Yo tell ah lie” by Roger “Landlord” Thompson, placed third, and the fourth spot was awarded to Rollie Bowman with “Give”.
