The month of June has been dubbed “Association Collaboration Month” by the Division of Sports & Physical Activities.

The initiative seeks engagement with the various sports governing bodies to create the best possible opportunities for the various student-athletes who are expected to participate this upcoming academic year.

 The intent is to increase collaborative efforts, foster all possible partnerships on school competitions, take suggestions, and have discussions towards program development, bilateral support structures, as well as technical assistance and advice.

The first of these meetings was held with the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines National Olympic Committee (SVGNOC) President Stephen Joachim and General Secretary Keith Joseph on Thursday, May 28th.

                                                                                                

There are proposed meetings with the SVG Football Federation and SVG Squash Association on Tuesday, June 2nd; SVG Cricket Association Inc. on Wednesday, June 3rd; and the SVG Archery Association on Thursday, June 4th. A date for the SVG Netball Association has yet to be determined.
