The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Male Under-19 cricket team, on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026, held a press conference at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex to officially introduce the team ahead of their upcoming WINLOTT (Windward Islands Schools Games) to be held in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The briefing saw the players and coaching staff expressing their optimism and strong belief in the team’s ability. Head Coach Elron Lewis said that “preparations have gone well”, adding that “the team is well prepared. I am expecting them to go to Dominica and perform to their expectations. The team is well prepared physically, mentally, and physically.”
Captain of the U-19 team, Jordan Charles, mentioned that he has a great responsibility and is confident in himself and his team. He emphasised that the squad will focus on teamwork, which will yield positive results.
The team left on Friday, 10th April, for Dominica, and the games run from Saturday, 11th April, to Saturday, 18th April 2026.
