Area Representative for East Kingstown, Hon. Fitzgerald Bramble, announced plans to launch a community-centred initiative dubbed “Rise East Kingstown”.
Speaking at a constituency consultation on Saturday, 21st March, 2026 at the Peace Memorial Hall, Minister Bramble said that “Rise East Kingstown” will be a “once-a-month street fair” to be held in different parts of the constituency, where entrepreneurs can showcase their products.
“If you’re making your local pepper sauce, you’re making your sugar cake, you’re knitting baby clothes… whatever it is, you set up, display your stuff, and get a chance to make some money,” Minister Bramble explained.
The Area Representative said the initiative is geared towards supporting entrepreneurs so they can develop and operate their small businesses.
