Phase two of the 'Enhancing Public Safety with the Intelligent Video Analytics Project for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' was completed with a closing ceremony held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Questelles Police Station.

During this phase, an additional 100 CCTV cameras, 30 Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras, and 30 License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras were installed on mainland Saint Vincent and in the Grenadines.

Phase two also involved upgrading the software and hardware of the centers associated with the project and providing training to enhance the application capability of Information Technology. Training areas included Image Recognition and Analysis and Advanced Information Security.

Additionally, an Intelligent Video Surveillance System was developed during this phase.

Speakers at the ceremony included H.E. Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan, Mr. Enville Williams, Commissioner of Police, and Mr. Grenville Williams, Attorney General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The results presentation was conducted by Mrs. Simone Joseph-Ollivierre, Assistant Director of the eGovernment Unit in the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD).

The event concluded with the handover of a bucket truck and a tour of the E-Bus and Security Operation Centre.
