The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is inviting applications for the position of Senior Support Coordinator, Global Delivery and Support Section, IP Office Business Solutions Division, Infrastructure and Platforms Sector, and Principal Examiner, Madrid Operations Team 1, Madrid Operations Service, Madrid Operations Division, Madrid Registry, Brands and Designs Sector.

Senior Support Coordinator

The Senior Support Coordinator supports the digital transformation of IP institutions by assessing their technical and business needs, recommending project delivery models, and formalizing cooperation with WIPO through work and project plans. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring digitization initiatives and IT system deployments, while providing regular updates to stakeholders. The Officer coordinates consultants, vendors, and IP office staff to ensure successful implementation. They manage institutional relationships, promote sustainable operations through training and knowledge transfer, and contribute to integrating new technologies and methodologies. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Total Salary: USD $144,445

Principal Examiner 

The Principal Examiner oversees the team's workflow, ensuring timely, high-quality output and monitoring performance through regular statistical analysis. They identify areas for improvement, propose process enhancements, and ensure staff are well-trained and proficient. Working closely with the coordinator, the incumbent helps align procedures with quality standards and leads efforts to resolve complex cases, using them as learning tools for the team.

They develop and deliver training programs for both staff and external stakeholders, contribute to procedural manual updates, and support client service by supervising team communications and ensuring timely responses. The incumbent also assists the coordinator in stakeholder
engagement and acts as their substitute when required. Other related duties may be performed as needed.
