Welcome to the official website of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Youth Development Summer Program 2022 kicks off on July 11th 2022 after a 2-year interruption, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, at the SVG Coast Guard Base.

During a recent interview with the Agency for Public Information, Coordinator, Petty Officer Damion Franklyn said that the program is geared towards the overall development of its participants. He expressed gratitude to the sponsors for making the program possible and highlighted a number of areas in which the participants would be trained which includes navigation, conflict resolution and safety at sea.

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Youth Development Summer Program will be carried out in three phases, and each phase will see an increase in the number of participants per phase from fifty (50) to sixty (60) as a result in the increase of sponsorship.

The Program which is in its 29th year is made possible by Sagicor, the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (BOSVG), Wind and Sea Company and the St. Vincent Port Authority.
