The Medicinal Cannabis Authority is pleased to extend to you an invitation to attend a Medical Practitioners Training Course with regard to prescribing and dispensing Medicinal Cannabis (MC).

The dates for these sessions are Thursday, 10th June, 2021, and Sunday, 20th June, 2021. Each day the training starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

The sessions will include a general overview of the Cannabis Industry, as well as prescribing and dispensing MC, also an introduction to the patient registration/tracking system.

It is highly recommended, though not mandatory, that persons attend one of the sessions. A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the training. This document will form part of the requirements needed to apply for a prescribing or dispensing license for Medicinal Cannabis.

The venue for both training is the Fisheries Division conference room, Kingstown. Any changes to the above information will be communicated. The registration fee is EC$100.00 which will be collected on the day of the training.
