Welcome to the official website of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Government of Canada is continuing to expand its worldwide network of visa application centres (VACs) to make services more accessible to a wider audience. To better serve applicants in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Caribbean, a new VAC was opened in Kingstown on October 10th, 2019.

As part of the visa application process, Vincentian nationals must provide their biometrics (fingerprints and a photo) over ten (10) years when applying for a Canadian visitor visa, study, work, or temporary residence permit, or each time they apply for a permanent residence. Vincentian applicants, like all Caribbean applicants, can now take the opportunity to provide biometric information in Kingstown.

If you are planning to travel to Canada for study, business, tourism, family reunions or other reasons, this new service can help to ease the visa application process. The VAC is located at Inter Island Trading Company Ltd. (DHL Office), Upper Middle Street, Kingstown and will open weekly from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
